What to expect

  • This training is designed for yoga teachers, birth workers, wellness practitioners, and dedicated students who want to support pregnancy, postpartum, and reproductive health through an inclusive, trauma-informed, and Ayurveda-based approach.

  • This program is best suited for certified yoga teachers or those currently in a yoga teacher training program. Experienced practitioners and professionals in related fields may also apply.

  • Yes. This training is intentionally designed to support all individuals who experience pregnancy, including non-binary, trans, and gender-expansive people. We emphasize inclusive language, trauma-informed care, and affirming teaching practices throughout the program.

  • Upon completion, you will receive a 100-Hour Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training Certificate designed to meet Yoga Alliance RPYS educational standards.

  • Yes. You will graduate with the knowledge, teaching practice, mentorship, and confidence needed to safely teach prenatal and postnatal yoga classes and support pregnant students in general yoga settings.

  • Most prenatal yoga trainings focus primarily on pose modifications. This program goes deeper by integrating:

    • Trauma-informed teaching methodologies

    • Inclusive and gender-affirming approaches

    • Ayurveda for fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery

    • Hands-on practicum and mentorship

    • 1:1 coaching and monthly integration support

  • The program is a hybrid format that includes:

    • In-person weekend immersion modules

    • Live online lectures and mentorship sessions

    • Self-paced coursework and recorded content

    • Practice teaching and observation hours

  • You will learn how Ayurvedic principles support fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, hormonal balance, nourishment, nervous system regulation, and long-term vitality through lifestyle practices, nutrition, herbalism, and daily rituals.

  • Live online sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the student learning portal so you can revisit the material and stay on track.

  • In addition to scheduled training hours, students will complete practice teaching, class observations, self-study assignments, and integration practices throughout the 4-month program.
